Anne Garner

I'm Annie from Telford, Shropshire. I've been sewing for more than 50 years and quilting for more than 20 years.
I'm an eclectic quilter. I love to design my own quilts but am happy using the designs I've purchased from some of my favourite designers too.

I love colour. I studied Art and Design at college along with the Primary Curriculum. I had a wonderful career in teaching spanning 38 years and spending the latter 23 years as Headteacher of a village primary school. The Arts were a key part of our creative curriculum.
I'm happy with technology and gadgets and have used tools based on technology and die cutting in my quilts.

I'm one of the Coordinators for Young Quilters in Region 11 and have run some successful workshops now I've discovered a super, reasonably priced venue. It's great to pass on skills to a younger generation and no OFSTED!

I have established a teaching business based on Patchwork and Quilting since my retirement. I have a website so please stop by and find out more.
