Anita O'Neill

Having spent many years watching and learning how to sew from my mother I embarked on a City and Guilds Embroidery and design course many years ago. Part of this course work involved quilting which was a new endeavour for me. Once this course finished I have looked to improve my quilting skills over time. Still learning and practicing I have made quilts for my home and for my family.
I love anything to do with textiles and do teach in my studio mixed media art textiles. My aim is to master quilting so that I can exhibit my work with confidence. This may take some time.
In the mean time I live on a small holding where we have a few sheep, ducks, chickens and a lake with fish. When in my studio I love looking out of the window watching them living their lives in peace.
