Veronica Ryden

I have been quilting since the 1980's, discovered machine quilting in 1992, on a course at Gawthorpe Hall in Padiham . First time using a rotary cutter! Since then have completed City and Guilds Patchwork and Quilting Part 1&2. Learned such a lot from those four years, and made some lasting friendships. Now retired from paid employment and looking forward to developing my quilting. Recently volunteered for Talking Quilts, a great privilege to talk with other quilters and listen to their stories, and an opportunity to tell my own - highly recommended. Attended first annual conference in Portsmouth, meet some wonderful people and learned a lot about the Guild.
