Alison Thomas

My Mum was a tailoress and made most of my clothes when I was young. As a child I was surrounded by fabric. I tried lots of different crafts but in my twenties I joined a local quilt group and I've been hooked ever since.
Having moved from Sussex to Norfolk six years ago in my spare time I now teach a small group of ladies in my village quilting, patchwork and applique. My husband and I run an award winning B&B (the AA's Friendliest B&B of the Year 2016/17!) and we offer quilt retreats outside of our peak seasons.
Guests can come and sew for as long as they like whilst we provide them with home-cooked meals and cake! I also offer workshops on a variety of techniques and patterns.
